Meet Nora. Named after Nora Bernard, the Mi'kmaq woman who spent her life seeking compensation for the families who were forced through the residential school system in Canada.
“Justice, I wanted justice...for my people. Not only here, but throughout Canada”
Cyndi Lauper said it best:
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
The Kokeshi Friendship collection was created to embrace the beauty of humanity and celebrate diversity. Each doll is named for either a historical or fictional woman that was influential, inspirational, or brought hope to the world. When your doll is shipped, she will also include a pretty information card that tells a little of her namesake’s story.
These dolls are 2” tall and 1.5” wide, making them a great size for all ages. Choose your favourite doll or collect the entire set over time! Not only do these dolls make a beautiful addition to modern whimsical decor, they are meant to be played with and encourage imagination and creativity.
